Unroll some desoldering braid from its roll.(Optional: If you use unfluxed braid or want to improve the wicking of rosin/no-clean braid, apply more flux to it.)
place the end of the desoldering braid over the solder joint that you want to desolder.
Lightly press a hot soldering iron on top of the braid and hold it in place.
Lift the braid and the solder iron, while the solder is melt.
Clip the used section of braid off.
USE OF DESOLDERING PUMP
Melt the solder that you want to remove(You can do this with a soldering iron or with a hot air source)
Prime the desoldering pump by pressing down on the plunger until it locks into place.
Place the tip of the desoldering pump as close to the molten solder as possible.
Press the plunger release button while keeping the tip of the pump in place.
Repeat the previous steps until all solder is removed from the solder connections of the component.
Use a pair of pliers to pull the component from the circuit board.
