Working Principle :
Simple circuit to glow an LED with Switch. A light-emitting diode (LED) is a two-lead semiconductor light source. It is a p–n junction diode, which emits light when activated. When a suitable voltage is applied to the leads, electrons are able to recombine with holes within the device, releasing energy in the form of photons.
Applications:
LED is used as a bulb in the homes and industries
The light-emitting diodes are used in motorcycles and cars
These are used in mobile phones to display the message
At the traffic light signals led’s are used.
